You asked for tips....On breastfeeding, my lactation consultant suggested compressing the breast around its perimiter, which supposedly helps increase the flow. Increased flow, in turn, is supposed to help keep the baby awake and eating. Best of luck. Sounds like you're doing well already if they're gaining weight!


You might try a slight rolling back-and-forth of the bottle using fingers while in the mouth or perhaps a slight in-and-out movement as well to stimulate the "feel" of the bottle being in there. Worked for my kids.
