I agree with you that Dove was both a landmark ad campaign and the integration of the subject online was excellent.

However, I believe that online they just scratched the surface of an issue.

There is something deeper at work here- if a brand wants to raise a social issue- how far is it prepared to go and what do consumers expect from it?


Great post, Pete. I'm glad I stumbled onto you blog. If only the marketing and service departments actually took the time to understand each other and work together for the customer.
