Talk about a Tipping Point. For whatever reason, I've received a small avalance of "did you see this" e-mail from friends and colleagues about this forthcoming campy movie entitled "Snakes on a Plane." This stomach-turning movie preview is all the rage in the blogophere and it's triggering a fascinating conversation among marketing insiders on "buzz-building." At this very moment, we're debating it on an interview with Joe Jaffe and Jackie Huba. What so fascinating about this movie is that it's not yet complete. While viral e-mails fly all over the place, New Line Cinema is inviting consumers to help finalize the formal "score" for the movie. GM... meets the Snakes.
Surely, you meant...SSSSSS, check it out.
So you typed this up while we were recording??? Nice multi-tasking!
Part 1 of the interview will be up on www.acrossthesound.net by tomorrow at the latest

I stumbled across your blog while I was doing some online research. The movie may be fascinating people because of the involvement the fans have had in it, but also probably because the campy title doesn't seem to make any claims to be more than it is.
