If you are thinking to yourself... "Pete just threw WAY too much at me at once," rest assured, there's hope. At Intelliseek, we've created a wonderfully simple and user-friendly -- dare I say "public" and free -- tool for anyone to learn about the world of blogs. We named it, appropriately, BlogPulse. On the left column of this blog, we list a number of quick tips and tricks for using BlogPulse to your full advantage, but don't let the "instruction guide" limit your options. Play around. Have fun. See where the links and search tools take you. Half the fun is in the serendipitous exploratory.
As the Intelliseek employee responsible for updating the daily blog entries in BlogPulse.com, let me tell you this: it's incredibly easy. And this is coming from someone who learned how to "keyboard" back in the days when it was called "typing." I learned on a manual Underwood with carbon paper and plenty of White-Out. Updating the blog can be accomplished in as few as 10 minutes. Once you get the hang of it, it's very easy to continue learning how to do more. One of these days, I'll have Pete show me how to post images and photos. And in my copious (ahem) free time, I maintain a blog that my husband and I just launched in conjuction with his corporate web site. We use it solely to promote Surgery Sucks!!!!...a book we just wrote and self-published to help people stretch their way out of pain quickly and easily -- and without risks.
