The Big Chill

What an incredible holiday break.  Snow flurries.  Over a foot of snow.  Everyone who lived up here in Mt. Adams was basically shacked up for days.  That said, I'm please to report -- as is the good Father Quin -- that the Mt. Adams Coffee Shop kept its doors open.  And we actually SOLD OUT of our Reindog Blend, which we frankly hadn't anticipated.  Thanks for the support, and here are some photos of the Big Chill.

Reindog Parade Highlights

The Mt. Adams Reindog Parade turned out to be one of the busiest days for the Mt. Adams Coffee House.  All in all, the coffee house was cookin', but the big story was all the dogs that worked their way down St. Gregory Street.  Here are some highlights.  Enjoy.

New Branding Day + Lot of Dogs

Today we officially unveiled the new branding for the Mt. Adams Coffee House. In a flurry of activity, we reworked the merchandizing area, added a new chalk board with Mt. Adams themed items -- e.g. Incline Ice Tea -- painted over the old Kaffee Klatsch logos on outside, and added our new Monk logo to about six different places.  We timed the new branding with the Mt. Adams Reindog parade, which brings a huge number visitors to the hill.

Founders Day - Mt. Adams Coffee House

In a few hours, the Mt. Adams Coffee Shop will serve its first cup of java to some lucky member of the Cincinnati community.  The spirit of the old Kaffee Klatsch still lives -- and we're still serving the same great coffee -- but we're taking a sharp turn toward the community in which we reside.  At the end of the day, a great coffee house is "well grounded in the community" and that's our goal.  Be sure to send us lots of feedback, and don't forget to try our special Reindog Roast ("So Strong it Bark!), which we'll be launching today to commemorate the 14th Annual Mt.
