What if a couple bookshelfs were added to the Klatsch for community or visitor pleasure reading? Not as extreme as Kaldis (the Over-the-Rhine coffee shop that can easily be mistaken for a used book shop), but enough to keep folks curious and engaged? Then there's the even more important question: what types of books would you like to see? Pulp fiction? Old paperbacks? Art books? History books? Useless "How To" computer manuals? Let us know.
How about old history books about Cincinnati, or the history of Mt. Adams.

Books are a great idea. I think anything other than NEW books or NYTimes bestseller list books would probably molder a bit on the shelves. If everyone knew you had the hot-off-the-presses books for lending, you'd have a hit. It's also much more fun to sit and discuss fresh books than it is to simply read old ones (however much I love old books). You could also sponsor Mt. Adams Coffee Book Clubs. Yowza! - Rob

How about wireless internet access. These days so many of us have laptops that its nice to drop by a coffee shop where we can enjoy a latte while catching up on our email. If you need more info on what this would involve feel free to contact me.
