Welcome to InclineModel.com! This website is managed by Pete Blackshaw, proud resident of Mt. Adams, and owner of the Mt. Adams Incline Model. I am interested in finding a temporary or permanent home for this magnificent piece of Mt. Adams history. The model is a true "scale" model of the original Mt. Adams Incline and is approximately 3' by 12' feet. My most important criteria is that it find a place or home where it can be seen and appreciated by others. Read on for more details, and please contact me at blackshaw@gmail.com or 513-608-8913 for more information.
Really enjoyed the history and the photos. Kind of amazing that Cincinnati let the Mt. Adams incline shut down in 1948. What were they thinking? The Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh is a huge tourist attraction.

This is a great site - just ran across it a few days ago. Hope you keep it running for awhile longer.
Did you find any takers for your model (I'm assuming by now it might be in the hands of the Cincinnati History Museum at Union Terminal - the Cincinnati In Motion exhibit)?
