Seductive "Can't Resists" Product Placement

Yes, those are our little ones, right smack in the midde of a postage stamp...Liam on the left, Leila on the right.  There's a host of new services that allow parents to proudly put their toddlers on stamps (yes, we took the bait) and whoever came up with this idea is going to make a small fortune.  At the end of the day, we're paying a 100% premium over the price of regular stamps in order to put our beautiful tots on envelops. Speaking of which, these vendors are a bit sneaky.  Most of them require you to first upload your beautiful tot photos to the stamp template BEFORE they show you the pricing.  By that time you see your tot or tots overlayed on the stamp, you almost feel guilty turning back!  If these guys were smart, they'd do a deal with uPromise so that parents would know a slice of the cash would go toward the college fund.  It would almost like paying the tots a "talent fee" per exposure.  :-)

Late Night Whack-a-Mole?

Feeding twins is like playing "Whack a Mole."  Just when you take care of one mole, another one pops up.  Last night, between 2:30 and 5:30 AM, I was playing a marathon game of "Whack a Mole" with Liam and Leila.  The irony is that both of them were breaking all records on the feeding front.  And yet their heads kept popping up (in the form of screaming) for more.  Let's just say this: when Erika took the next shift, sleep never felt so good.

Fashion Week Special: Parent Bib Concepts

The projectiles keep flying, and yes, we're quite serious about a line-up of bibs for parents.  Here a first cut.  Again, why should kids get all the protection.   Go ahead, provide feedback. 

Bibs for Parents?

I'm amazed that no one has come up with a "bib" for parents.  I could not imagine a greater "unmet need" in the parenting category.  What child doesn't barf up a storm. I'm going to develop a couple prototypes.  Some potential names: Burpstirs, Barfsters, DadShields, etc.
